Sculptural Danish Vintage Bangle 14K Gold
I’m in love with this 14K gold bangle and her irresistible shape! She’s the interesting square and super sculptural variation on my own plain round one which you might have seen in other pics if you follow me on Instagram.
The bangle was made by the renowned Danish goldsmith Flemming Lund (active from 1936-2007) in the 1970s. And boy did he do well! The lines are knife sharp and the curves are so smooth and delicious.
The bangles inside circumference is between 17,7 cm/ 7 inches and she is oval on 53x60mm. She weighs a great 18 grams so she’s a substantial one.
She is 7 mm wide and 2.5-8 mm thick. She’s very sculptural but sits amazing well on the wrist. Super balanced and comfortable to wear.
She is in excellent condition with zero wear and has just been polished. She has a teeny tiny damage to the underside (see last pic - the pic is magnified). Not noticeable at all when wearing. Clasp and security loop is working perfectly.
All colored areas are just reflections from the surroundings. The color is completely even.
