Antique Sublime Art Deco Pendant Necklace 18K Gold 1920s

$1,250.00
Sold

From the Art Deco era and absolutely radiating charm, this one is such a special find. She’s an elegant 18k gold and white gold pendant, suspended from a long 22.25 inch 18k gold chain. I adore how she wears; not dainty, but with real presence. Her circular frame glows with old rose-cut diamonds, baguette-cut rubies, and creamy cultured pearls, all set in rhythmic intervals that bring out the geometry and glamour of the period.

At the heart of the piece is a pale green beryl, beautifully faceted and gently set in gold. This gem type lives in the same family as emerald and aquamarine. The green beryl is an umbrella category for light green beryl that isn’t saturated enough to be called an emerald. These stones are still incredibly beautiful, often cleaner than emeralds and with a soft, almost ethereal glow.

She’s an utter delight to wear. Excellent condition with little to normal signs of age, all colored reflections are just from her surroundings. The spring clasp fastens securely, of course.
