15.3 Inches Watch Chain 18K Gold 1868

So you know from the reel that this guy is old, right?! From 1868 to be precise. He has full Swedish hallmarks to prove it.
He’s made in 18K solid gold. But the links (6-7mm) are hollow which means that the weight is kept down - and so is the price. The total weight is 19.7 grams.
The watch key is original to the chain and is also made in solid 18K gold. It has the beeeautiful ornaments and it a little treasure in itself. This is 45 mm long.
The chain has a hook (32x12mm) which can hold your watch key and other pendants. This is the equivalent to a bolt clasp.
On the other end the chain has a smaller loop (8mm) that opens (it opens and closes with a little screw mechanism). This is totally secure and working perfectly.
There’s a little extender piece (3mm wide links) added with a dog clip (20mm) for super easy wear. The dog clip is also antique and matches the color well but it’s not original to the chain.
The chain is 15.3 inches with the extender and 13.1 inches without.
I love all the elements on this one and I have already spend too much time playing with it. He can also be used without the key as a bracelet and since you can attach the dog clip to wherever it will work for almost any size wrist.
The condition is good with expected signs of wear due to age. There’s 4 links to the left nearby the hook that have been worn thin. The chain is not fragile in any way but if this bothers you, the links can be repaired by a goldsmith (price is set accordingly). Hook, dog clip, loop and key all in excellent condition.
The chain sits perfectly on the neck - and as a bracelet.
