Sexy Braided Italian Vintage Cuff 14K Gold 1970s
I think that if this cuff was a bag she would definitely be a Bottega Veneta! That braided technique reminds me so much of one of the best (to me) Italian luxury brands of all times.
But this is not a bag, luckily! This is a one of a kind, fabulous bracelet cuff in 14K solid gold that you can wrap around your wrist and enjoy in the sun!
For years now I have been so very fond of Italian handmade gold pieces, and I have been trying to curate some out of the ordinary examples for you.
This one definitely checks all boxes. She is a beautiful, substantial piece on 26 grams, and she feels soooo comfortable to wear. She has an opening so you just slide her on. Shes made out of long braided gold strips and every second one has a satinated finish.
The inside circumference is just between 6.25 and 6.5 inches (16.2 cm) and she is 27 mm wide. She has marks for maker, carat and country on the inside (pic).
The conditions is excellent with minor age related signs of wear to surface. All colored areas are just reflections from the surroundings. The bracelet is slightly out of symmetry as you can see in the pics but this is not noticeable at all when you wear her.
