Sublime Long Guard Chain 18K Gold 1916
Look what I just brought home! An antique long guard chain on 59.8 inches in 18K buttery gold from 1916.
The chain weighs 13 grams and has full Swedish hallmarks for 1916. She’s made out of the cutest lil belcher (or rolo some call them) links.
The chain was made by the Swedish goldsmith Dahlgren in 1916 and he did such an amazing job! The little links are immaculately done and in perfect condition. There’s a swivel dog clip attached at the buttom of the chain measuring 21 mm. It’s in perfect working condition.
The chain wraps around 3-4 times around the neck (depending on your head size) making her the most versatile chain ever. She can go from ultra long to choker style in a second. And you can even attach little charms to the dog clip.
