Antique earrings with old cut diamonds like these are sooooo hard to find!!! So you can imagine my happiness when I found these!!!
I just adore the sweet little petal design and the big old cut diamonds set in classic buttercup settings.
With a total of approximately 1.30 carats of natural old diamonds,
some tiny rose cuts and some bigger old cuts (the two largest are approximately 0.55 carats each, colorless (very white indeed) and inclusion free).
The earrings are 20 mm or 0.8 inches long and they are studs with security lock mechanism. To open lift up and take apart. Easy and secure!
The diamonds are set in silver on a back of 18K solid gold. They aren’t marked but have been tested for carat.
The earrings date to the last half of the 1800s and the condition is excellent with minor signs of age and patina.
