Beautiful Textured Danish Vintage Bangle by J. Asby 14K Gold 1960s
A sublime brushed vintage bangle!
I adore a brushed finish! Especially the one on this bangle. It just plays with the light in a way that other textures don’t. Even in the shade or at night it looks amazing. (All colored areas you see on the bangle is just reflections from the surroundings, she has an even tone all the way around).
The bangle dates to the 1960s by the Danish goldsmith J. Asby. It’s marked for 14K and maker.
The gold has a beautiful radiant color to her. I really love this tone of luminous 14K.
She’s 7 inches in inside circumference.
The bangle is 10 mm wide and has cool angles edges that are high polished. It’s 3 mm thick. There’s a well working clasp with security that will hold her securely in place.
The condition is excellent with normal traces of age-related wear to surface. There’s a few tiny tiny marks on the underside (last two pics).
