Antique 19 Inches Rolo Link Chain 18K Gold 1800s
I’m releasing this Victorian rolo chain from my personal collection today.
I fell in love with antique rolo links years ago. I just love that oldtime feel they have to them and how they look so chubby and cute. Also they stack so well with flatter chains since they add a little height and texture the stack.
This particual chain from the mid 1800s was originally a watch chain and was turned into a chain at some point in history probably in the 1920s. The spring clasp is working perfectly but could have looked nicer (price set accordingly). I thought of replacing her today but thought that you could maybe add a dog clip or spring clasp yourself. Would look amazing. Or keep her as she is.
The chain is 18k solid gold and 19 inches long. 4.5 mm wide. 11 grams. The condition is well loved with normal age related wear.
