Extraordinary Beautiful Danish Vintage Emerald x Diamond Ring Mid Century
If you have heard me speak about emerald rings, you know that I rarely see a vintage emerald ring that I love because they are always placed in somewhat ugly settings! WELL…. Here’s a BEAUTIFUL emerald in a BEAUTIFUL setting!!!!!!! I couldn’t be more in love!!
The emerald has the best of the best saturated green color that looks INSANE especially when she dances in the sunlight! The color is true deep green in the shade and when the light hits her, she’s luminescent!!! (Video on Instagram will be up as soon as the weather allows me, right now it’s just too gloomy!).
All gemstones are assessed by my gemologist who was very excited to see this beautiful natural emerald. Based upon it’s features it most likely origins from Colombia, land of the finest emeralds in the world.
The natural emerald is approximately 9x9 mm (app 3.17 carats) and also there’s 3 brilliant cut natural diamonds on approximately 1.3 carats in total. They are clean and colorless, so high quality diamonds that send out all the sparkle that you could dream of.
The face of the ring is 12x22 mm so she’s got some nice finger coverage.
The ring weighs a whopping 10 grams!
The ring is a size 5 US can be sized within reason by your local jeweler). The ring has Danish marks for 18K gold and maker. She dates to the second half of the 1900s.
The condition is excellent with minor signs of age. Stone has no damage to facets. All stones are secure in the setting.
All in all a total dream piece that will become a future heirloom for sure.
